My Philips VOIP Skype phone won’t interact properly with the automated response systems - like for my credit card or bank. When I press numbers to enter into the system, the system doesn’t always get it. I see many stand alone Skype phone reviews, but few mention this critical function.
The DTMF tones work during the call with the GE 2810EE1 and the Belkin Wi-Fi Phone for Skype ( F1PP000GN-SK ). Both work well, but not perfect. Sometimes, if the connection is weak (slow), I have to re-enter a tone sequence.
I need a VoIP service that does call forwarding and gives a phone number in Taiwan. Italkbb is the only one that does this but I’ve read many bad reviews so I’m a bit scared to use them.
Please, oh please, is there any alternative? I wish skype offered numbers in Taiwan but sadly they don’t. If anyone could tell me of any possible alternatives I would be eternally indebted.

I’m not looking for a review of the MLM opportunity with 5Linx. I am interested in hearing if anyone has used the actual GLOBALINX VOIP phone service for their home or business phone? Is it really as inexpensive as they claim? Quality and reliability ok?
You can probably find user reviews for that product/company on www.ripoffreport.com & www.consupo.com but at my work we use some of the Avaya phone systems and they are really quite nice with lots of useful features, such as call forwarding, conference calling, voice messaging, advanced call routing, etc.
